Volunteer

2023-2024 School Year

A new school year kicks off in August, and we have many opportunities to serve our children at 8:30, 9:45 and 11:00.  We ask for a commitment for the school year from August 13th through May in which you will serve on a rotating schedule with other volunteers.  Please prayerfully consider where you can serve.  Please click the button below to sign up to volunteer!  Thank you!

 

  • MBCC Kids will promote children to the next grade level on August 13th.
  • Pre-K classes include children coming from the Nursery and MUST be 4 years old by September 1, 2023.
  • In order to accommodate the over 400 children in our kids ministry, we need LOTS of volunteers to serve this school year.

Schedule

8:30
Pre-K & Kindergarten:  Community Groups – Volunteers will teach and serve once a month.  
1st-5th Grades:  Attend worship service with parents

9:45
Pre-K & Kindergarten:  Kids’ Worship – Volunteers help with kids worship and serve once a month. 
1st-3rd Grades:  Community Groups – Volunteers will teach and serve once a month. 
4th-5th Grades:  Community Groups – Volunteers will assist with community groups and serve once a month. 
Welcome Desk: Volunteer will serve once a month and sit at the kids welcome desk to greet people as they arrive. 

11:00
Pre-K & Kindergarten:  Community Groups – Volunteer will teach and serve once a month. 
1st-3rd Grades: Kids’ Worship – Volunteers help with kids worship and serve once a month. 
4th & 5th Grade: Attend worship service with parents

 

Youth Kids Worship Helpers
This year we will allow youth students who are 8th grade and up to serve as helpers during our Kids Worship times at 9:45 or 11:00. Youth helpers will also serve on a rotating schedule. Youth helpers will need to fill out the same form below to sign up. 

 

Helping Hands Volunteer
These volunteers will serve with Kids Ministry on Sunday mornings at 9:45 or 11:00.  They will serve by helping the teachers with any kids who require some extra attention (taking them on a walk, chatting with them in the hallway or joining them in the classroom), covering a class if a teacher is running late, or any other immediate needs that arise during these times!  This role will vary from week to week! Volunteers will serve once a month on a rotating schedule.
