We are excited to have the privilege to love, nurture, and grow with your child! We plan to take advantage of our time with your children and help guide them through all areas of development: physical, social, emotional, language, cognitive, and most importantly spiritual.
Our goals are to create an inviting environment that will encourage children to learn, to provide specific activities that will enhance listening, motor & social skills, to do our best to develop a positive self-image in each child, and to teach God’s promise of unfailing love & faithfulness as children learn, grow and interact.

Ages
MBCC Journey is the Mother’s Day Out and Preschool ministry of Mountain Brook Community Church. We are a mother’s day out program available to children ages 3 months to 5 years old.
Hours of Operation
Our regular hours are 9:30 am – 1:30 pm. We also offer extended hours in the morning from 8:00-9:30 am and in the afternoon from 1:30-3:00 pm.
Registration
Our goals are to create an inviting environment that will encourage children to learn, to provide specific activities that will enhance listening, motor & social skills, to do our best to develop a positive self-image in each child, and to teach God’s promise of unfailing love & faithfulness as children learn, grow and interact.
All registration for MBCC Journey is done online. When registration opens, it will be time sensitive and the first families to complete on-line registration will be offered any open spots first. After you have completed registration forms, you will receive a confirmation email stating that we have received your form. Registration fees will only be collected if there is a spot for your child(ren).
Summer 2026 and the 2026-2027 School Year
The program is full for Summer 2026 and the 2026-2027 school year, and the waitlist is closed to the public. If you are a MBCC church member and would like info about getting on the wait list, please email callyb@mbcc.us.
Summer 2027 and the 2027-2028 School Year
Registration dates for Summer 2027 and the 27-28 School Year will be as follows. Registration links will be posted prior to the opening date. Thank you!

Early Bird and Stay & Play
Early Bird is available each morning from 8:00-9:30 am, and Stay & Play is available each afternoon from 1:30-3:00 pm. The EB/S&P program will be a monthly tuition rate based on the number of days needed per week. Each family will sign up (if needed) when enrolling in Journey. Once you have signed up for the school year EB and/or S&P, your schedule will not change. If you need to make changes to your EB/S&P schedule, it will need to be submitted through the link below.
**If your child is only attending regular hours (9:30-1:30) with no extended hours, you do NOT need to fill out the form below! If you want to make changes to your extended hours during the school year, please email journey@mbcc.us
For those families who do not need regular extended care, you may sign up for Month to Month Early Bird and/or Stay & Play. ALL REQUESTS FOR MONTH TO MONTH MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE THE 25TH OF THE PRIOR MONTH. If your request is received before the 25th of each month, your cost will be $10. All requests received after this date, will be considered a drop-in and charged the drop-in rate of $15. (Drop-ins will depend on openings in the class.)
