MBCC is excited to host David Thomas and Sissy Goff of Raising Boys & Girls for the Strong Kids, Strong Families Parenting Conference on January 27-28, 2023!  You can read below to learn more about the conference, and we encourage you to sign up early as space is limited!

Who are David and Sissy?

David Thomas and Sissy Goff have been counseling kids and families for many years at Daystar Counseling Ministries in Nashville, a place that one of their little friends called “the yellow house that helps people.” They are honored to take what they learn from those wise kids and families and bring it to us by way of the books they write, their podcast, and the conferences they share with parents and educators across the country and beyond.  More info on Raising Boys and Girls can be found by clicking here. 

CONFERENCE INFO & SCHEDULE

The conference at MBCC will be a two day conference on Friday evening and Saturday morning with the theme: Strong Kids, Strong Families.  Friday’s session will be “Raising Emotionally Strong Kids” and Saturday’s session is “Parenting Toolkit.” 

Friday, January 27th
5:30-6:30 pm: Dinner (optional)
6:30-8:30 pm: Conference – Raising Emotionally Strong Kids (The conference will start promptly at 6:30.)

Saturday, January 28th
8:30 am: Doors Open & Coffee
9:00 am – 12:00 pm: Conference – Parenting Toolkit (The conference will start promptly at 9:00.)

Costs
Conference Fee: $25 per person
Friday Night Dinner: $10 per person
Childcare: $15 per family per day (see below for more info)

Childcare
**Childcare is now full.**  Childcare is available for babies through 5th graders for a fee of $15 per family per day.  It is only available for members/regular attenders of MBCC. Childcare space is LIMITED and will be available on a first come, first served basis.  You can reserve your childcare spots when registering for the conference.  

Registration
We have reached capacity and the conference is now full!  Please click the box below to register for the conference.  After submitting your registration form, you will be directed to a PayPal site to complete payment.  YOUR REGISTRATION WILL NOT BE CONFIRMED UNLESS PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.  Closer to the conference date, you will be sent your ticket(s) for entry via email.  Conference tickets are nonrefundable.
