MBCC is excited to host a parenting conference with Cameron Cole in January, and we invite you to join us!

Who is Cameron Cole?

Cameron Cole is the founding chairman of Rooted Ministry, and Director of Adult and Nextgen Discipleship at St. Peter’s Anglican Church in Birmingham, AL. In addition to serving the local church for nearly twenty years in youth and family ministry, he is the co-editor of Gospel-Centered Youth Ministry: A Practical Guide (Crossway, 2016). Cameron is the author of Therefore I Have Hope: 12 Truths that Comfort, Sustain, and Redeem in Tragedy (Crossway, 2018), which won World Magazine’s 2018 Book of the Year (Accessible Theology) and was runner up for The Gospel Coalition’s Book of the Year (First-Time Author). He is also the co-editor of The Jesus I Wish I Knew in High School (New Growth Press) and the author of Heavenward: How Eternity Can Change Your Life on Earth (Crossway, 2024). Cameron holds an undergraduate degree and an M.A. in Education from Wake Forest, as well as an M.Div from Reformed Theological Seminary. Cameron is married to Lauren and together they have four children, one of whom lives in heaven.

 

CONFERENCE INFO & SCHEDULE

The conference at MBCC will be a two day conference on Friday evening and Saturday morning. While parents of all ages are invited to attend either session, Friday evening will be geared towards parents of middle and high school aged children, and Saturday morning will be geared towards parents of pre-k and elementary aged children. You can register to attend either session or both.

 

Friday, January 23rd
6:00 pm: Doors open
6:30-8:30 pm: Conference  – middle and high school parents
No childcare is offered

 

Saturday, January 24th
8:30 am: Doors Open & Coffee
9:00 – 11:00 am: Conference – Elementary parents
Childcare is available. See below for details.

 

Costs
The conference is free to attend, but you must register in advance!
Saturday Childcare: $10 per child (max of $30 per family)

 

Childcare
Childcare is available for the Saturday morning session for babies through 5th graders for a fee of $10 per child, max of $30 per family.  It is only available for members/regular attenders of MBCC. Childcare space is LIMITED and will be available on a first come, first served basis.  You can reserve your childcare spots when registering for the conference.
