IMMEDIATE NEED FOR VOLUNTEERS - Sav-A-Life East

Sav-A-Life East is in need of volunteers to help in the training of their Ultrasound nurses. If you or someone you know are less than 10 weeks pregnant and would like to have a free limited ultrasound exam, at Sav-A-Life East, please call Lesa at 655-8477 to schedule an appointment. Appointments will be on Friday between 1 PM and 4 PM in January and possibly into February. Call ASAP.
Our nurses must do 75 scans under the direct supervision of a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) before we can provide this service to our mothers. What an opportunity!
Tell your Sunday school class, your neighbors, everyone. Once our RN’s are confident in doing these, we will be offering them to our abortion-vulnerable clients.

Sav-a-Life Vestavia

Sav-A-Life, Vestavia is in great need of baby shower hosts/hostesses for 2011. Participants in our Gift of Birth Childbirth Education classes are presented a shower after completion of the course. Hosting a shower is a great project for Sunday School classes, service organizations, groups, clubs, or anyone interested in helping expecting parents get a healthy start to the life of their precious child.

Please consider responding to our need for baby shower host and hostesses for the year 2011. We have many expecting parents in great need. Would you pray about the need and the opportunity and seek God’s direction? If you feel God’s calling to respond, please contact Vicki Angell for more information at 205-979-9957 or VickiAngell@Savalife.org.

Our most pressing need is for hosts for the shower scheduled for Tuesday, February 1.

There are ongoing opportunities at MedMission for individuals and groups.  We work most Saturday mornings and have groups come in from several churches in town as well as youth groups.  We can also schedule work sessions at other times to fit a group’s schedule.  We are sorting and packing medical supplies for donation to mission hospitals and clinics in developing countries.  No medical experience or knowledge required!  Come and help us "Make a Difference, One Life at a Time".
