As people who are becoming fully devoted followers of Christ, we should all be involved in mission. Our Mission Program is discerned from a group of Scriptures collectively known as the “Great Commission” (Psalm 67:2, Matt. 28:19-20, Mark 16:15, John 20:21, Acts 1:8). We cannot obediently fulfill the command to "go and make disciples of all nations" on our own, therefore we partner with like-minded ministries and missionaries around the world to accomplish our part of the mission.
In light of this, we ask our congregation - “Where will you go?" Some will consider going to a foreign country for short or long-term service. Some will serve across the street or in the surrounding community. Others are called to go and pray. Still others will go to their checkbooks to give financially to those serving around the world. Whatever the application, our challenge is to help every believer be obedient to the Scriptures which calls us to "go and make disciples of all nations" (Matt 28:19). This call to action can be summed up in three simple words - pray, give, and go.
To help connect our people in this effort, we have three volunteer teams (Global, Local, and Short Term Trips) designed to educate and mobilize our congregation to meaningful involvement in mission. These teams oversee our participation in projects/trips, support our current partners, and identify qualified missionaries and ministries for future partnerships.
The Global Mission Team oversees our partnerships with missionaries and ministries outside of our region and around the world. We currently support 23 global partners in 22 countries. We have partners in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, the Middle East, the Pacific Rim, and Australia.
Specific information about each of our partners is available through our newsletters, Community Groups, and other church resources. If you would like regular updates on our global partners, please contact Julia Denson (juliad@mbcc.us).

Through Short Term Mission Trips (STMTs) we have the opportunity to impact people we may otherwise never meet, in places we may otherwise never go, for the glory of God. We hope to serve ongoing ministries and missionaries around the world who work daily to make disciples of Christ in their community. Our goal in sending STMTs is to obey our calling, grow our people, and encourage our missionaries.
For this reason, we send regular trips to a handful of partnership sites. We link hands with like-minded ministries who are building relational bridges in their communities and serve together to impact the world with the Gospel of God's grace. We currently have partnerships in Budapest, Hungary; Ciudad Juarez, Mexico; and Pucallpa, Peru. This year we intend to begin partnerships in other areas including San Diego, CA. In addition to these, our college ministry (UCF) has established partnerships in Haiti and Northern Ireland.
